These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the FRM Prep Lab website and platform (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the Service.

1. About the Service

FRM Prep Lab is an online study platform designed to help candidates prepare for the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) Part I exam through practice questions, quizzes, mock exams, and performance tracking tools.

The platform is intended to support exam preparation through practice-based learning and exam-style questions. The Service may evolve over time and features may be added, modified, or removed.

2. Eligibility

By using the Service, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old or have permission from a legal guardian.
  • You will use the Service only for lawful purposes.
  • You will comply with these Terms.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, users may be required to create an account.

You may register using:

  • Email and password
  • Third-party authentication providers (such as Google)

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activity that occurs under your account

Accounts are intended for individual use only and may not be shared with others.

If we detect suspicious activity or account sharing, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate the account.

4. Payments and Access

Certain features of the Service require a one-time payment in order to access the full platform.

When purchasing access to the Service:

  • Payment is made once for access to the platform at the time of purchase.
  • Access is granted for at least 12 months from the date of purchase.
  • After this period, we may continue to provide access at our discretion. However, continued access beyond 12 months is not guaranteed, and we reserve the right to introduce new pricing, plans, or access models in the future.
  • The platform may evolve over time, including the addition of new features, improvements, or expanded content.

Because the Service provides immediate access to digital educational content, purchases are generally non-refundable.

However, in certain circumstances we may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

If you believe a refund is justified, you may contact us using the contact information provided at the end of these Terms. Refund decisions are made at our sole discretion.

5. Prohibited Activities

Users agree not to:

  • Attempt to scrape, crawl, or extract the question database
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to access underlying systems
  • Share account credentials with multiple users
  • Resell or redistribute platform content
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scraping tools
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the platform

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts engaged in abusive or prohibited activity.

6. Educational Disclaimer

FRM Prep Lab is an independent study tool created to help users prepare for the FRM Part I exam.

FRM Prep Lab is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) or the official administrators of the FRM certification.

The Service is provided for educational and practice purposes only.

We do not guarantee that use of the platform will result in passing the FRM exam or achieving any specific exam score.

7. Service Availability

We aim to provide a reliable and accessible platform. However, we do not guarantee that the Service will always be:

  • uninterrupted
  • error-free
  • continuously available

The Service may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues.

We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue features at any time.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FRM Prep Lab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • exam performance outcomes
  • loss of data
  • loss of study time
  • inability to access the platform

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

9. Account Suspension or Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • violate these Terms
  • misuse the platform
  • attempt to copy or redistribute content
  • engage in abusive or fraudulent activity

We may also restrict access to the platform if necessary to protect the integrity of the Service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If significant changes are made, the updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.

Continued use of the Service after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
